Billing & Plans
Subscription plans, usage limits, the credit system, and how to manage your billing.
SerpWise billing is organized around two independent systems: a subscription plan that sets your base limits for domains, rules, and monthly request volume, and an optional credit system for AI-powered features.
Subscription Plans
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial.

| Annual price | $2,388/yr ($199/mo) | $5,748/yr ($479/mo) | Custom |

Annual billing saves approximately 17–20% compared to monthly.
Which plan is right for you?
- Business — In-house teams managing a single production domain with moderate traffic
- Agency — SEO/marketing agencies deploying across multiple client domains
- Enterprise — High-traffic, multi-brand operations needing custom limits and dedicated support
Usage Limits
Each plan enforces the following limits:
Domains
The maximum number of production domains you can add to your organization. Business plans include 1 production domain plus unlimited staging domains. Agency plans include 10 production domains, with additional domains available at $25/mo each. Enterprise plans have unlimited domains. If you reach your limit, you can purchase additional domains or upgrade your plan.
Rules Per Domain
All plans include unlimited rules per domain.
Monthly Requests
The number of HTTP requests the gateway will process for your organization per calendar month. This counts all requests across all domains. Business plans include 500,000 requests, Agency plans include 5,000,000 requests, and Enterprise plans have custom limits (10M+).
When you approach your monthly request limit, SerpWise will notify you. If you exceed the limit, requests may be throttled depending on your plan. Check your current usage in the Billing section of your dashboard.
Team Members
The maximum number of members (including the owner) in your organization. Business plans support up to 3 members. Agency and Enterprise plans have no member limit.
Viewing Usage
Go to Organization Settings → Billing to see a usage summary for the current billing period:
- Domains used vs. your plan limit
- Rules used (showing the highest count across your domains)
- Requests this month vs. your plan limit
- Members vs. your plan limit
Credit System
Credits are a separate balance used for AI-powered features within SerpWise. Credits are purchased in packages and consumed as you use AI features.
1 credit ≈ $0.001 (one tenth of a cent).
Credit Packages
| Package | Credits | Bonus | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10,000 | — | $9.99 |
| Basic | 50,000 | +5,000 (10%) | $39.99 |
| Pro | 200,000 | +40,000 (20%) | $149.99 |
Credits are purchased as one-time payments and never expire. Your credit balance is shared across all members of your organization.
How Credits Are Consumed
Credits are deducted based on the complexity of the task. Simple tasks use fewer credits, while advanced reasoning tasks use more.
| Tier | Best for | Typical cost per message |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | Simple summaries, short answers | 3–15 credits |
| Standard | Detailed analysis, content generation | 50–200 credits |
| Premium | Advanced reasoning, complex tasks | 200–800 credits |
You can check your remaining credit balance and transaction history from Organization Settings → Credits.
Credit Ledger
The credit system uses an immutable ledger — every credit addition and deduction is recorded as a transaction. The current balance is the sum of all transactions. This gives you a full audit trail of credit usage across your organization.
Managing Your Subscription
Upgrading
Click Upgrade in the Billing section of your dashboard to move to a higher plan. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated — you're charged only for the remainder of the current billing period at the new rate.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. If your usage exceeds the new plan's limits at renewal, you'll be prompted to reduce usage or stay on the current plan.
Billing Portal
Click Manage Billing in the Billing section to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can:
- Update payment method
- Download invoices
- View billing history
- Cancel your subscription
Cancellation
Canceling your subscription keeps your account active until the end of the current billing period. After that, access is suspended — domains and rules are preserved but become inactive until you renew your subscription or select a new plan.
Invoices
Invoices are generated automatically by Stripe and sent to your billing email address. You can also download past invoices at any time from the Stripe customer portal.
