AI Visibility Tracking helps you understand how AI systems discover, crawl, and interpret your content. It combines an AI Readiness Score with per-URL bot activity tracking and actionable optimization recommendations — so you can improve your visibility in AI-powered search results like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
AI Readiness Score
Each crawled page receives a composite AI Readiness Score from 0 to 100, calculated from 5 weighted components:

A higher score means AI systems can better understand, index, and cite your content.
Per-URL AI Bot Activity
The AI Visibility tab on any URL Detail page shows:
- Time-series chart of AI bot visits over the selected period
- Bot breakdown — which AI crawlers are visiting and how often (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, etc.)
- Last visit timestamps per bot
- Request volume trends — increasing or decreasing AI crawler interest
This data comes from the gateway's request logs, which capture AI crawler activity that traditional JavaScript-based analytics tools miss entirely.
AI Readiness Recommendations
Below the activity data, the AI Visibility tab provides actionable recommendations to improve the page's AI readiness score. Each recommendation includes:
- Priority level — high, medium, or low impact
- Current state — what the page has (or is missing)
- Recommended action — specific steps to improve, with links to the relevant SerpWise feature
- Fix with AI button — for recommendations with auto-fixable solutions, a one-click Fix with AI button generates and applies the correct rule or meta tag automatically
Common recommendations include:
- Add Open Graph tags — Fix with AI creates a site-wide rule for all OG tags
- Add structured data — Fix with AI injects Organization JSON-LD schema
- Add a canonical URL — Fix with AI creates a self-referencing canonical rule
- Improve content length for thin pages (manual fix)
- Enable AI Markdown Serving (configure in domain settings)
- Complete metadata using AI Meta Generation — Fix with AI triggers generation for this URL
Domain-Wide Summary
The domain dashboard includes an aggregate AI Visibility summary:
- Average AI Readiness Score across all crawled pages
- Score distribution — how many pages fall into each score range
- Highest and lowest scoring pages for quick prioritization
- AI bot traffic trends across the entire domain
